| Please note: Do not forget that it is not unusual to spend hours at the Model Village if you are in the company of a little train enthusiast - so park your car with this in mind. Directions: If you are travelling by car:- Follow the Brown tourism signs towards the Sea front. For hours of uninterrupted fun, it is recommended that you use the park and ride facility at the Esplanade close to the Fun Fair and take the E21 (free) bus to the stop outside the Royal Clifton Hotel. The Model Railway Village is set inside the gardens opposite the Royal Cliffton Hotel and sited to the right, next to the Marine Lake Bridge. If you are travelling by train. Once you arrive at the station, turn left into Chapel Street and right into East bank Street, cross Lord Street and take the Scarisbrick Avenue pedestrian walkway (next to the Scarisbrick Hotel) to the Promenade - you will now see the marine lake foot bridge and the sign for the Model Railway Village directly ahead.
